The San Francisco 49ers Foundation and 49ers PREP hosted the inaugural “Beyond the Game” Career Forum at Levi’s® Stadium, welcoming high school athletes for a day focused on life skills and career preparation. The event was designed to provide students with invaluable tools to help them succeed not only in their athletic pursuits but also in their future careers and personal lives after high school.
The forum is part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to youth development and mentorship. It builds upon previous initiatives, such as the annual Mentorship Academy, by offering a dedicated space for student-athletes to learn from professionals about important topics like leadership, teamwork, and career pathways outside of sports.
By hosting this event, the 49ers Foundation continues to demonstrate its dedication to helping young people thrive “beyond the game.” This new initiative expands the team’s community efforts, ensuring that local student-athletes are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
